23rd Feb, 2017: Scrap gold prices decline, Platinum and Silver rise

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked declined marginally Thursday, 23^rd February on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap Silver and Platinum increased on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.08 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went down by $ 0.11 and $ 0.13 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also edged lower by $ 0.06 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a rise of $ 8.02 per Oz to reach $ 728.39 per Oz. Silver scrap prices were up by $ 0.01 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went lower by $ 0.08 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went down by $ 0.10 and $ 0.13 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also declined by $ 0.05 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 8.02 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained unchanged at $ 13.15 per Oz.
