23rd April, 2015: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices dropped on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 23^rd April, 2015 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 8.32 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 10.66 and $ 13.01 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 5.33 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw deep cut of $ 10.21 per Oz to reach $ 829.74 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $13.05 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.16 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 7.86 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 10.08 and $ 12.31 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 5.04 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 10.21 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.13 per Oz.
