22nd August, 2016: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices slide further

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Monday, 22^nd August, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 7.13 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 9.13 and $ 11.15 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 4.56 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 11.66 per Oz to reach $ 806.41 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $15.56 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.42 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 6.74 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 8.64 and $ 10.55 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 4.32 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 11.66 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.37 per Oz.
