21st Jan, 2015: Scrap gold and silver rally, Platinum unchanged

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked edged higher from previous day on Wednesday, 21^st January this year on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The Silver scrap prices also gained. However, the prices of Platinum scrap remained flat over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 3.27 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 4.18 per Oz and $ 5.10 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 2.09 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap remained flat at $ 923.80 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged higher marginally by $0.35 per Oz over the previous day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 3.09 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 3.95 and $ 4.83 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 1.98 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap remained unchanged over the day. Meantime, Silver scrap prices increased slightly by $0.31 per Oz during the day.
