19th Sep, 2014: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum dropped

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined marginally Friday, 19^th September on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.29 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 0.37 and $ 0.45 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.18 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap too saw cut of $ 15.31 per Oz to reach $ 979.94 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $15.19 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.04 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.27 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 0.34 and $ 0.42 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.17 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 15.31 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.04 per Oz.
