19th October, 2017: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Roll Along On a Low Key

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined marginally on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on October 19^th, Thursday. Stainless Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices too dropped on Index upon comparison with the previous day. Meantime, Aluminum and Steel scrap prices held steady.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 300 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined marginally by CNY 300 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices dropped marginally by CNY 50 per MT to CNY 29,800 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes prices remained flat over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices too held steady over the day. Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady.

Heater Cores prices reported decline of CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 28,300 per MT on Thursday, October 19^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged when compared with the previous day.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved at CNY 15,900 per MT.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 19^th October, 2017.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady at CNY 1,630 per MT on 19^th October, 2017.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS, 304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices saw no change on Index over the previous day.

309 SS prices too remained unaltered on Index.

310 SS prices witnessed marginal decline of CNY 50 per MT.

316 SS Solid scrap and Shred SS prices held steady on Index.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded marginal decline from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices recorded decline by CNY 50 per MT on October 19^th, 2017.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were down by CNY 50 per MT each.
