19th February, 2018: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Stayed Flat on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on February 19^th, Monday. Steel, Brass and Bronze scrap prices held steady. Copper and Aluminum scrap prices too remained unchanged over the previous day. Also, Stainless Steel scrap prices remained flat on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing witnessed no price change over the previous day.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also remained flat.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady at CNY 23,700 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained unchanged.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Monday, February 19^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved at CNY 13,900 per MT.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 19^th February, 2018.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady at CNY 1,630 per MT on 19^th February, 2018.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged at CNY 5,500 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 310 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

316 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on February 19^th.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China remained unchanged on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady at CNY 30,300 per MT on February 19^th, 2018.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were flat on Index.
