17th Sep, 2014: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum dropped slightly

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold, silver and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined marginally Wednesday, 17^th September on the ScrapMonster Price Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 1.27 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 1.64 and $ 2.00 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.82 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap too saw cut of $ 3.65 per Oz to reach $ 993.79 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $15.34 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.10 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 1.21 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 1.55 and $ 1.89 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.77 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 3.65 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.09 per Oz.
