17th Oct, 2014: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum dropped

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Friday, 17^th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 1.70 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 2.18 and $ 2.67 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 1.09 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap too saw cut of $ 10.94 per Oz to reach $ 905.57 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $14.29 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.08 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 1.61 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 2.07 and $ 2.52 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 1.04 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 10.94 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.07 per Oz.
