Founded in October, 2011, Level4 Bio was conceived after co-founders Ruth Doranzo and Jeffrey Halmekangas shared personal stories of tragedy around family members who had contracted healthcare acquired infections and subsequently succumbed to the illnesses. That led to Mrs. Doranzo sharing details of a game-changing technology that her and a team of colleagues launched several years prior—the sanitizing systems the company uses today. Their stories and backgrounds had enough similarities to prompt them to join forces and launch Level4 Bio in a quest to prevent as many devastating illnesses and deaths as possible from preventable infections.

The proprietary sanitizer contains a solution of 58.6% alcohol. The solution also contains Four-Chain Quat that continues the sanitizing action even after the alcohol has completed its killing function and evaporated.
A 58.6% solution of alcohol has long been recognized as an optimal sanitizing agent, but its flammability presented a big problem. Level4 Bio uses a proprietary sanitizer containing a solution of 58.6% alcohol with a Four-Chain Quat plus a critical key to safety, CO2 as a carrier.
This patented distribution method safely delivers the germ-killing solution thoroughly and evenly in any contaminated environment, including areas with impossible-to-reach nooks, corners and crevices where ‘superbugs’ migrate and breed.
Non-Corrosive
Modern electronic equipment isn’t compatible with corrosive sanitizers or wet-wash methods. Fabrics, leathers and plastics also break down after repeated exposure to common sanitizing chemical such as bleach. The Level4 Bio solution safely and thoroughly sanitizes sensitive components, fine electronics, leather, fabric and porous plastics in seconds without any damage or residue. That means one step sanitizing – simply spray and walk away. No rinsing or wiping required, and the Four-Chain Quat compound adheres to surfaces and continues the pathogen killing action even after evaporation.
Safe for Food Contact Surfaces
Our unique formula can be used directly on food production equipment, food contact areas, conveyors and more across the entire food facility environment. No wiping or rinsing is required after the solution evaporates.
Level4 Bio is flame resistant and dries in seconds yet continues sanitizing even after evaporation, leaving the area germ-free and ready for almost immediate use. Our patented distribution method envelops the alcohol mist in a stream of CO2 propellant so the alcohol cannot ignite, even in presence of electrical spark or open flame. That means Level4 Bio is equally safe in any work environment and on any type of equipment, food processing and fine electronics, and is equally safe for people as well as the environment.
