Our history begins at the forefront of the development of elastomeric impression material. Founded in 1975, Crown Delta was one of the first companies in North America to manufacture impression materials using polyvinyl siloxane (also known as vinyl polysiloxane or VPS). Due to some astute foresight, Crown Delta quickly expanded production of VPS products in anticipation of meeting the increasing demands of supplying a growing number of dental distribution companies with what has become the most widely used dental impression material in history. 

Since the company’s inception, Crown Delta has simultaneously focused on custom designing non-dental products with a variety of uses for companies across the globe. Off-shoots and special formulations of Crown Delta impression products are currently being used in the veterinary, medical, orthopedic, prosthetic and forensics industries - just to name a few.
